Bio

 

My name is Jonathan Sawyer and I grew up playing soccer in San Diego. I played four years of High School soccer at University City High School and four years of intergollegiate soccer at the Universtiy of California San Diego. I recently graduated from UCSD with a degree in Management Science.

Aside from soccer, I have taken up pottery over the last few years. I create functional ceramics, anything from dinner plates to coffe mugs to flower pots. Private Lessons: I began giving private lessons as a freshman in High School. Since then I have privately coached kids of all ages and skill levels. During my first year giving lessons full time(Jan 08-Jan 09) I gave lessons to more than 40 different players.

Playing Experience
Club Experience: I started playing soccer at Mesa Soccer when I was 7. Since then I have played club soccer for Mesa Rovers, San Diego Fire, Notts Forest and Nomads. I played four years in High School and have continued playing since.

High School: 4 years at University City High School in San Diego. 2 CIF Championships.

College Soccer: 4 years at the University of California, San Diego.
