I instruct private and group soccer lessons for players of all ages and skill levels. I am available after school and during weekends, but the best way to check my availability is on my schedule.

Private vs. Group

Parents frequently ask whether a private or group lesson is best for their child. Here is my opinion on both.

Private lessons offer one on one attention which is great for developing specific techniques and skills. For example, learning the fundamentals of offensive heading might be best learned in a private lesson. After learning the basics, the next progression is to practice with pressure. In this case, practicing headers against a partner. Repetition and attention are the key benefits of a private lesson.

Group lessons(2-4 players) lack the 100% coaching attention that a private lesson offers but allow me to simulate more gamelike situations. Many players enjoy the group environment because they can spend time with their friends or simply because they enjoy the competitive nature of a group lesson.
